After a challenging year professionally and a busy year personally my burning desire to invest my energy into work that fulfilled me and made me happy was the catalyst for the birth of VR Home (was Velvet Rose Home).
See, in 2019 I gave birth to my beautiful twins, so I went from a mum of 1 (gorgeous 8 year old boy) to a mum of 3! After a short maternity leave, I found the return to 'corporate mode' extremely difficult, and to be honest, I don't think I did or could put 100% into anything; motherhood, work, wifely duties - and this didn't feel good, but I carried on - as the bills don't wait ;)
Then, 2020 bought the dreaded C word...no, not that one :D, the other one, and like many, the pandemic hit my family hard; as a contractor my contract work was impacted massively.
For the first time in forever, I found myself unsure of what my next move would be, after crisis talks with the hubby and what felt like a million dead ends, we decided it would be best for me to take a bit of time away from trying to 'figure it out' - and just be.

elax, some people paint, some bake, I make 'smellies' as we say in my house.
I have been making reed diffuser fragrances for our home for years, so I decided to create some new smellies for each room. It bought me so much joy - and the rest, as they say, is history.
I am so proud of what I have created; an ever growing range of luxury fragrances, with inspiration from my favourite premium perfume scents, just without the hefty price tag; but most importantly, the range is continuously fragrant and long lasting.
What you see today is a result of me taking a risk I never thought I could take, experiencing happiness I never thought I would experience at 'work', and my dream materialising, so thank you for visiting VR Home, I hope you love my products as much as I do, and many others - you can read my reviews here.
